The EK Archery Cobra Siege comes with a bipod as standard, but its original connection to the crossbow is fixed. The UPBOLT SG-BIPOD adds a tilting function, converting the stock Siege bipod into a more flexible tilting bipod.
This is particularly useful when shooting from an uneven surface. Instead of having to reposition the entire bipod or crossbow, the crossbow can tilt sideways within the adapter. This makes it easier to correct the position while both bipod legs continue to provide support.
The standard Cobra Siege bipod provides a stable support point, but its original mounting arrangement does not allow the crossbow to tilt sideways. This becomes particularly noticeable when the two bipod legs are not positioned at exactly the same height.
The SG-BIPOD is installed between the existing bipod and the Siege. This creates a tilting point that allows the crossbow to be corrected sideways without having to completely reposition the support.
An important advantage is that you do not need to install a completely different bipod. The SG-BIPOD is designed to make the existing stock Cobra Siege bipod more functional.
The bipod itself is therefore not included. The adapter is used in combination with the original Siege bipod.
UPBOLT manufactures the SG-BIPOD from Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon (CFR). This material combines low weight with high strength and good thermal resistance and is specifically used by UPBOLT for components that require additional mechanical strength.
Even with a strong adapter, careful use remains important. Place the crossbow onto the bipod in a controlled manner and avoid unnecessary sideways or impact loads on the bipod and the crossbow mounting point.
The SG-BIPOD has been designed as a relatively straightforward upgrade. According to UPBOLT, installation can be completed in a maximum of approximately 10 minutes and does not require advanced technical skills or specialist tools.
The required mounting screws and hex keys are included. Corresponding QR instructions are also supplied with the product.
Not included: Cobra Siege crossbow, bipod, bolts or optical sights.
