The Killer Instinct Lethal 405 HD is a powerful full-size compound crossbow for shooters looking to combine 400+ fps performance with a traditional compound configuration, comfortable ergonomics and a well-equipped package. With a 210 lbs draw weight, speeds up to 405 fps and approximately 134.78 ft-lbs of kinetic energy, the Lethal 405 HD delivers serious performance.

The updated HD version features a redesigned, shorter stock with moulded rubber touchpoints at the forearm, grip and cheek weld. Killer Instinct has also incorporated rubber suppressors. The result is a crossbow designed around comfortable, controlled handling as well as outright speed.

405 fps performance

With a 210 lbs draw weight and 13.5" power stroke, the Lethal 405 HD achieves speeds up to 405 fps. Stated kinetic energy is approximately 134.78 ft-lbs.

This places it firmly in the performance class of full-size compound crossbows. Its high speed provides a relatively flat bolt trajectory, making it particularly attractive to experienced recreational shooters who value speed, precision and longer-range performance.

Traditional full-size compound configuration

The Lethal 405 HD measures approximately 18.75" / 47.6 cm wide when uncocked and 14.75" / 37.5 cm when cocked. Overall length is approximately 33.5" / 85.1 cm and weight is around 7.5 lbs / 3.4 kg.

It is therefore considerably wider than ultra-compact 400+ fps compound crossbows. This is primarily a design choice: the Lethal is aimed at shooters who prefer recognisable, traditionally configured full-size compound handling rather than minimum possible width.

Shooters whose main priority is maximum compactness may find other models within our range more suitable.

3.5 lbs trigger and Lumix 4x32 optics

The trigger has a stated pull weight of 3.5 lbs. The Lethal 405 HD is supplied as standard with Killer Instinct's Lumix 4x32 scope.

The package also includes two premium 20" 390-grain HYPR bolts with V-Track nocks, making the supplied equipment an important part of the complete proposition.

Crank compatible for easier cocking

The Lethal 405 HD is supplied with a sled rope cocker. This reduces the effort required to cock the crossbow and helps draw the string back evenly.

An important advantage is compatibility with the optional Killer Instinct Compact DSC Narrow 1.5 Sled Crank. The crank can be attached and removed to make cocking considerably easier.

This gives the Lethal a useful upgrade path: start with the standard rope-cocking system and add a crank later if increased cocking comfort becomes important.

Anti-Dry Fire and manufacturer warranty

The Lethal 405 HD features Anti-Dry Fire protection designed to prevent the crossbow from being fired without a bolt correctly loaded.

Killer Instinct also provides a limited lifetime warranty for the original registered owner on eligible standard non-wear parts, subject to Killer Instinct's registration requirements and warranty terms.
