The Junxing Drakon is a compact compound crossbow that combines low weight and an exceptionally narrow front end with serious performance. With a 100 lbs draw weight and speeds of up to 290 FPS, it provides an accessible step into the compact compound category without immediately moving to the size and weight of a full-size compound crossbow.
One of the Drakon's key features is its integrated lever cocking system. Pulling the rear lever mechanically cocks the crossbow, eliminating the need to fit a separate rope cocking aid for every shot. Combined with the adjustable shoulder stock and adjustable front grip, this creates a compact and practical shoulder-fired platform.
The Drakon occupies the space between a compact pistol-style crossbow and a larger full-size compound. It combines 290 FPS, a narrow compound front end, adjustable shoulder stock and integrated cocking system in a platform weighing only around 1.7 kg.
The Drakon's compound system has a 100 lbs draw weight and delivers a specified bolt speed of up to 290 FPS. Power stroke is approximately 7 inches.
Its reverse-cam configuration allows substantial performance to be generated from a short and narrow front assembly. This provides much more power than many conventional pistol crossbows while retaining compact dimensions.
The Drakon uses an integrated lever system for cocking. This greatly reduces the effort required compared with pulling the full draw weight directly and removes the need to attach a separate rope cocking aid for each shot.
This cocking concept is a major practical advantage of the Drakon and contributes strongly to its position as an accessible compact compound crossbow.
The Drakon weighs approximately 1.7 kg / 3.75 lbs. Overall length is approximately 26–28.7 inches / 66–73 cm, depending on stock position.
The front assembly measures approximately 8.1 inches / 20.5 cm when cocked and 10.6 inches / 27 cm uncocked, keeping the crossbow remarkably narrow.
The adjustable shoulder stock allows overall length to be adapted to the shooter. The adjustable front grip provides an additional controlled support point and helps make the Drakon more stable than a purely pistol-style crossbow.
The Drakon comes with an aluminium Tactical Holographic Red/Green Multidot sight featuring illuminated red and green reticles with multiple brightness settings and reticle patterns.
