Hawke XB1 1.5-5×32 SR Scope

The Hawke XB1 1.5-5x32 SR is a premium variable crossbow scope specifically designed to meet the demands of modern crossbows. Combining 1.5-5x magnification, a Speed Selector for bolt speeds from 250 to 425 fps and the dedicated XB1 SR reticle, it provides both fast target acquisition at shorter ranges and precise aiming at extended distances.

A key feature is the Speed Selector, which allows the scope to be calibrated to the ballistic characteristics of crossbows shooting between 250 and 425 fps. The XB1 SR reticle is positioned in the second focal plane (SFP); adjusting the magnification according to the actual bolt speed and trajectory calibrates the reticle's distance references.

The purpose-designed XB1 SR reticle provides multiple aiming references. Illuminated centre aiming points provide drop compensation out to 60 yards, while additional markings provide references from 70 to 100 yards, eliminating the need to repeatedly adjust the elevation turret when shooting at different distances.

The glass-etched reticle features red and green illumination, with five brightness levels for each colour. This allows reticle visibility to be optimised for changing light conditions.

Hawke's 11-layer fully multi-coated optics provide excellent light transmission, clarity and contrast. A wide field of view of 25 to 7.5 metres at 100 metres supports fast target acquisition at lower magnification, while 5x magnification provides additional precision at longer ranges.

The rugged construction features a 1 inch / 25.4 mm mono-tube chassis. The XB1 is nitrogen purged and designed to be waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Parallax is fixed at 50 yards / approximately 46 metres, while the Fast Focus eyepiece allows quick reticle focusing to suit the shooter's eye.

Low-profile capped turrets provide ½ MOA adjustments, with up to 120 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment. Measuring only 211 mm in length and weighing approximately 368 grams, the XB1 remains relatively compact for a variable crossbow scope.

The scope is supplied with flip-up lens covers, lens cloth and CR2032 battery. Mounting rings are not included with the standard retail version, allowing suitable rings to be selected according to the crossbow's rail and preferred mounting height.

The Hawke XB1 1.5-5x32 SR is an excellent choice for crossbow shooters looking for a high-quality, compact variable scope specifically engineered for crossbow use, combining a proven optical system with extensive ballistic aiming references.
