Compact target for light mini and pistol crossbows

The DEMUN is particularly suited to compact crossbow systems with relatively moderate bolt speeds. Barnett developed the target around its own DEMUN range, including models using short 7-inch HyperBolts.

The two different shooting faces also give the target a recreational character. The dartboard allows a variety of shooting games, while the bullseye side is better suited to practising grouping and accuracy.

Integrated grommets in the upper corners allow the target to be suspended from a suitable archery target stand.

Up to 300 FPS – what does this mean in practice?

Barnett's 300 FPS specification is a manufacturer rating rather than an absolute stopping guarantee for every possible mini or pistol crossbow and bolt combination.

Actual penetration is also influenced by factors including bolt weight and diameter, point type, shooting distance, impact speed and target condition. Particularly with short and thin crossbow bolts, practical stopping performance can vary between different target constructions.

Are you using a powerful mini, pistol or repeating crossbow, or unsure which target best suits your bolts? See our Target Selection Guide. It explains in more detail which factors influence stopping performance and how to select the right target.

The Barnett DEMUN Crossbow Target is primarily a practical choice for the Barnett DEMUN range and other light mini and pistol crossbows, with its compact size and two different shooting faces making it particularly suitable for recreational practice.
