Rinehart X-Bow Bag 18 – dedicated crossbow target

The Rinehart X-Bow Bag 18 is a specialised bag target developed specifically for crossbows. Its robust construction, two shootable sides and unique MOA Sight-In Grid make this target particularly suitable for both regular crossbow practice and accurately sighting in and checking a sight or scope.

Rinehart uses its Dual Layered Power Band Technology in the X-Bow Bag and gives the current version a manufacturer rating of up to 450 FPS. One side features the MOA grid for checking sight or scope adjustment, while the other offers 12 individual aiming points for regular practice.

Specialised crossbow target with MOA grid

An important feature that distinguishes the X-Bow Bag from more universal bag targets is its MOA Sight-In Grid. The grid provides clear reference points that make it easier to assess differences between the point of aim and actual point of impact. This makes the X-Bow Bag particularly practical when sighting in a new crossbow or scope, checking an existing setup or comparing different shooting distances.

The other side features 12 individual aiming points. This allows impacts to be distributed across the target and helps reduce the risk of arrows hitting each other during accurate shooting.

Up to 450 FPS – pay attention to the arrow used

Rinehart gives the X-Bow Bag 18 a manufacturer rating of up to 450 FPS. This classification should not be regarded as an absolute stopping guarantee for every possible crossbow, arrow and shooting-distance combination.

Particular care is required with very short and/or thin crossbow bolts. Based on our practical experience, these types of bolts, as used by some compact and repeating crossbow systems, can behave differently and sometimes penetrate a bag target considerably deeper than conventional longer crossbow bolts.

When using such a setup, start at a sufficient shooting distance and check penetration after the first shots. For short and thin bolts, another target in our range may be a better choice.
